You will be able to see the mechanism of a hydraulic mill, the wheat process since it is collected until it is transformed into bread, the life from a farmer family in an old rural farmhouse, the history of one of the oldest lineages of millers in Europe and the process of architectural transformation that has a space like this.
You can also enjoy various tastings of our artisan cheeses, as well as artisanal "embutits" from Vic, and local products in a rural and comfortable space.
This house is a typical Catalan "masia" with a long tradition familiar tradition, since 1497 (in 1997 they celebrated the 500 years), although the house is older, probably founded as a mill about 900-1000 years ago.
The mill is the backbone of the house, which has been built in several parts dating from very different periods, forming a diverse set, where the pools, the defense tower, the porches and the "masoveria" stand out. The most modern parts of the house correspond to the facilities of the cheese factory.
Not far from the mill, there is a beautiful cascade called "Salt de Purgatori" that you can visit. The surrounding landscape is unique!
